V60 pour-over (everyday recipe)

A forgiving 1:16 ratio that highlights clarity in light roasts and sweetness in medium roasts.

Equipment

  • V60 02
  • Gooseneck kettle
  • Scale
  • Timer

Steps

  1. Rinse the filter with hot water and discard the rinse.
  2. Use 22 g coffee, medium-fine (table salt texture).
  3. Bloom with 44 g water for 30 seconds, gentle swirl.
  4. Pour to 200 g by 1:00 in slow circles.
  5. Pour to 352 g by 2:00. Swirl once, drawdown by ~3:00.
